The best sommelier of the world (year 2007) Andreas Larsson tasted three Gambino wines. Here, what he said about them:
- Feu d’O 2017 : Bright light golden colour. Pure and exotic nose offering rpe yellow fruit, pineapple, apricot and floral hints without any oak influence. Nice palate with a juicy freshness, layers of ripe stone fruit, with confit du citron and fresh almond notes. Long and vigorous finish, nice purity and freshness. 90/100
- Tifeo 2017 White: Bright light golden colour. Pure nose, rather discreet fruit but layered with stony notes, fresh citrus, lemongrass and nutty notes. The palate is pure, fresh and bright with a good dose of freshness, almost slightly salty with a clear stoniness, pale stone fruit, citrus and a long lingering finish, very digest chablis-like style. 90/100
- Tifeo 2016 Red: medium deep ruby red with an orange rim. Youthful primary fruit aromas, crushed berries with a mild spiciness. A rounded yet fresh palate with succulent red fruit, pepper and clove notes, ligth to medium weight with a juicy lingering finish. 88/100
